I have been busy this winter working on some exciting new commissions for several clients, creating bespoke glass features for windows, doors and wall panels.

Tanya Clarke specialises in teaching Ashtanga and Hatha Style yoga alongside meditation and mindfulness practices. Her private studio is at her peaceful cottage retreat on the Surrey/ Hants / Berks border, where this unique window is now installed.

The panel is in a specially made oak frame to fit on the narrow shelf in front of the window. It depicts the woods around Tanya’s house and even some of her pet chickens, and lends the room a restful but uplifting feeling.

For her birthday Kathy wanted a unique glass panel which depicted her coastal surroundings in Newlyn. The panel features Kathy’s gorgeous Jack Russell – Jack! Local flora and fauna and fisherman’s cottages are also shown.

Kathy said: “I really love the piece, and Julia did such a great job of interpreting what I wanted. She captured Jack perfectly!”
